COPI - CHARCOT-MARIE TOOTH DISEASE

Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease (CMT) is a neurological disorder that causes progressive weakness.  The condition is caused by damage to the peripheral nerves due to impairment of the axons, or nerve fibers that transfer electrical impulses.  Many CMT patients have atrophy to the extremities that require orthotic treatment.  Time and attention are taken for the CMT patients because of the complex nature of the atrophied anatomy.  Patients who have experienced difficulty fitting into orthotic devices can be assured that COPI has a solution.  A large part of the solution is simply listening to the patient and understanding what works for them.  COPI will be committed to creating a Orthosis that will meet all of the needs of the patient.
